Varsity Team Camp

This is the inaugural summer for Roanoke Varsity Team Camp! Our camp will be run by Women’s Head Coach Blair Trail, Men’s Head Coach Mark Rohrback, local volleyball coach Jen Rohrback, and several players from both college teams. Be a part of this historic camp on the beautiful campus and fantastic facilities of Roanoke College.

This Team Camp is for Girls and Boys Varsity high school level teams that would like an opportunity to train together before the upcoming high school season. The camp will include a scrimmage match on the first night, two days of pool play, playoffs on the final day, practice sessions, social events, an evening 3’s or 4’s tournament, and possibly a coach’s tournament. On request, your team will be offered the opportunity to work on a strength training routine and have a college coach or player assist with practices and/or matches.

 Check in time will be in the late afternoon on the 28th and dependent upon your scrimmage time. Check out will be after lunch on the 31st and dependent upon your last match time.

$477 - Lodging & Meals included ($450 + $27 Fee)
Commuter Camper Cost: $318 - Includes Meals ($300 + $18 Fee)

Team Cost: $106 / Coach ($100 + $6 Fee)
Free Coach for every team with at least 8 players

Commuter: Does not stay on campus. Overnight Camper: Stays on campus.

Players: Your Coach must register your team before you can register. If your team does not appear in the "Team" drop-down during registration, your team has not yet registered.

Teams: You must register your team first. The next step is to direct your players to the website to sign up. There is limited space for our team camp and inclusion is first come first serve, so sign up ASAP.

Location: Roanoke College Cregger Center and Campus - Salem, VA

Details:

  • Participant insurance coverage will be primary coverage.
  • All meals and accommodations are included in the residential cost for Overnight campers. Commuter cost includes Day 1 snacks or dessert, Day 2 and 3 lunch and dinner, and Day 4 lunch.
  • All camp confirmations will be sent via email including all necessary information for check-in as well as the medical waiver form.
  • Teams will ONLY play other teams of the same gender.
  • Teams will play on average 9 matches throughout the week with practice sessions available as well.
  • Matches will be played in the Cregger Center and Bast Center with practices in the Kerr-Cregger Field House.
